Glimmers of Hope is my largest print to date. The large scale was important to capture the movement of the sea, swirling between the rocks and sparkling on to the horizon. It is a print that has been a long time in the making, as I grappled with the colours which would best draw out the qualities of light playing on water that I wanted to capture. I love that feeling of joyful surprise that comes the first time I pull a print to reveal the image as it had always needed to be: this time it just took me a long time to find it.
